Hang in there and keep writing. I say this after years of watching my own artistic output get (mostly) ignored by the world at large. It can be pretty destabilizing. But if you’re like me, there will come a day when the script gets flipped and all of a sudden a love for the craft becomes the most important thing. And if you’re like me you’ll realize that the art itself is actually your best friend. Honestly I’d probably be dead or living in the streets if it weren’t for this realization. I like to think of it as the ultimate inoculation against loneliness. So try to resist giving up. Staying the course is worth it. And besides- I like reading your posts. I’m sure others will as well.
